Steve Madden Store Opening

Last Saturday the FJ team and our friends from BeatTV attended the Steve Madden store opening at Doncaster.

Left: The awesome goodie bags were a massive hit!













BeatTV caused a stir with their general randomness and filmed this week's episode at the opening. Check it out here: www.beattv.com.au. There's a bit of something for everyone - cross dressing, shoes, music, meaningless dribble and politics.

At the opening lots of gorgeous young hopefuls turned up to enter the Steve Madden and FJ model search. The winner, who will be announced next week will win a double page photo shoot in the September issue of Fashion Journal.

In keeping with the African vibration, the gorgeous sounds of local vocalist Aminata Doumbia and soul shaking moves from dancer Tariro will acompany the show, which will also feature footwear by Carissa Taramoeroa. It is a show not to be missed!

Featured fabrics from ‘ONE LOVE’ have been hand-dyed in Gambia and Senegal with 5% of all sales going towards building sustainable artistic business for the Bakau, Gambia community.
