Bul Store Opening

Last night the girls from the FJ office dropped into the Bul store opening for a couple of drinks (and yummy nibblies).

We adored not only the clothes, but the shoes and bags were to die for. Really, really want these pieces. Might have to wait til next week though. Pay day was only yesterday and the funds are already looking a bit low.

We also had the pleasure of meeting the designer Virginia who looked absolutely stunning in Bul - not only a brilliant designer but the perfect brand ambassador. Such a sweetie too. Melbournians, definitely check out her store. Everyone else, jump on the website. http://bul.com.au/

Dore Embraces Australian Designers

Garance Dore, fashion illustrator, photographer, blogger and so so much more is exhibiting her new work in Melbourne until Sunday the 23rd of May.

This style icon has been commissioned to create a series of fashion illustrations to reflect the 2010 Winter collections of Australia's leading designers. The spirit of prominent designers such as Bettina Liano, Gorman, Zimmerman and Arthur Galan are apparent through Garance's care free illustrations. We absolutely adore them!

The ‘Winter with Westfield by Garance Dore’ exhibition is on display at Westfield Doncaster, 619 Doncaster Road.

Sydney Trip

Last week the FJ girls spent a couple of days in Sydney traipsing the streets checking out retailers and having countless coffees with clients. Not that we are complaining - we love visiting our Sydney friends.

I made a quick, sneaky purchase at at Lucette's boutique on William St Paddington on my way to a meeting - a cute drapey silk jacket with military inspired buttons. I can't find a pic of it on their online store, I'll have to take a pic soon. Lucette is stocked nationally (including David Jones stores).
